Voice Vault has become Biometric Security Ltd.

VoiceVault has joined forces with venture partner The Chiimu Partnership to provide the required resources and marketing expertise for international expansion. For existing customers and partners of the existing VoiceVault service, the technology platform and day to day contact people remain unchanged. Chiimu has acquired the assets and VoiceVault business via a new company which is to be called Biometric Security Ltd.

VoiceVault is a world leader in the verification of customers and their transactions over the telephone and internet. Verification takes less than a second. The Company's platform enables secure access from mobile devices. The Company and its products meet the requirements of ISO 17799/BS7799 and was the first biometric technology in the World to be granted EU certification for advanced digital signatures ("speak on the dotted line"). There are four services currently: Payment Verification, Client Verification, Corporate Security and Government Security.

Vance Harris and John Colgan continue with Biometric Security as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Business Development. David Chislett, Chiimu Partner, will take the role of Chief Finance Officer. Chiimu partner, Paul Lindsey will take responsibility as Chairman. Paul Lindsey and David Chislett were the prime movers of leading technology company in the life, pensions and personal financial services company. They brought The Exchange from start-up, through private equity funding to listing on the London Stock Exchange.

Chiimu Partner Paul Lindsey said: "The overall biometric security market is expanding quickly, with a size of $4.6 bn forecast by 2008.
