enCharge Protects Credit Records with Voice Biometrics
enCharge, a US-based consumer risk management company, is using VoiceVault voice biometric technology to prevent identity theft and to provide fraud protection through its Fraud Buster product.
The enCharge Fraud Buster solution uses voice biometric authentication at each data management point of entry. While minor data management is automated, access to individual files and reporting to these files is biometrically encoded. Simply stated, enCharge customers, lender members and reporting members are all registered using their voice and only granted access through the VoiceVault voice portal.
In practice, this means that users no longer use their social security number as the primary means of identification for accessing their enCharge credit record - an access method aggressively targeted by fraudsters. At enCharge, and with Fraud Buster, users now use their voice to protect themselves from the current risks associated with identity theft. With their cutting-edge systems and processes, all entries to a persons' credit file are authenticated using voice biometrics, scrutinized and confirmed before taking affect. This enables enCharge to ensure that the person requesting credit or access to their credit record is the only person authorised to do so.
To quote their marketing message, enCharge are saying to their customers... "Don't be a number. Speak up! Join the enCharge reality today!"
